I'm JUST Danny
Fun fact; My name is actually 'Danny'. Not Daniel, not Dan... Just Danny.
A wedding photographer, filmmaker and educator dedicated to helping photographers and videographers grow their wedding business with confidence, clarity and direction.
I’ve spent years shooting weddings across the UK, travelling to new venues, working with incredible couples and learning the craft the hard way: long days, tight timelines, high pressure, difficult lighting, unpredictable weather - all the things that make wedding photography one of the most challenging (and rewarding) areas of the industry.
Over those years, I’ve refined not only how I shoot, but how I run the entire business behind it. From pricing, workflow and client communication to editing, delivery and marketing, I’ve built systems that allow me to work full-time in a field I absolutely love - and that’s exactly what I now help others achieve.
Where it started
Photography began for me long before weddings. Like most photographers, I spent years dabbling with cameras, experimenting with styles, reviewing gear and creating content online. But everything changed when I shot my first wedding — the energy, the emotion, the pressure and the storytelling hooked me instantly.
From that point on, I committed to mastering weddings specifically.
Not just the technical side, but the craft, the people skills, the business, the mindset.
That journey eventually led to Bligh & Guy Wedding Visuals, where I now shoot weddings full-time alongside my business partner.
Why I teach
I know exactly what it feels like to start out: unsure of your style, second-guessing your pricing, trying to understand contracts, workflow, editing, posing and client experience all at once.
I remember what it felt like to spend hours researching things I wished someone would just explain simply.
So my goal is straightforward:
to help photographers and videographers skip the years of trial and error and build a profitable wedding business faster — and with confidence.
Everything I teach comes from real weddings, real couples and real experience. There’s no fluff, no gatekeeping and no recycled “advice” from people who don’t shoot weddings.
